Rodeos
At Block 2 Bank Fishing, we're thrilled to present our seasonal fishing rodeos, where young anglers aged 6-14 come together to cast their lines and compete for top honors. Our year features three major fishing rodeos, each taking place in the spring, summer, and fall. Each rodeo boasts its own set of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, celebrating the most skilled and dedicated young anglers. What makes our fishing series unique is the introduction of a points system. Each catch is measured and weighed, contributing to an individual angler's total points. These points accumulate across all three rodeos, creating an engaging competition that fosters skill development and friendly rivalry.
At the end of the season, we gather for a memorable banquet-style dinner, where the true champions of the year are recognized. Awards are given for the 'Biggest Fish,' 'Most Fish Caught,' and the coveted 'Angler of the Year (AOY)' award. The AOY award is a testament to the angler with the highest accumulated points throughout the season, crowning them as the Champion Angler of the year. As part of the celebration, numerous other awards will be handed out, and we'll host free raffles for fishing rods, reels, tackle boxes, and various fishing gear and items. It's a true celebration of skill, sportsmanship, and the shared passion for fishing that defines our young angler community. Join us in the thrill of competition and the joy of camaraderie throughout our fishing rodeo season!
